2025 Charity Wings ArtForward Live Art at the Fair Event
This year at the San Diego County Fair’s Summer Petacular, Charity Wings hosted two booths at the Home Arts and Hobbies section on June 21st and 22nd, 2025. On Saturday, Michael Carini of Carini Arts painted in his signature style live to the delight of the fairgoers in the Home Arts and Hobbies Area. Alessandra Thornton of Allie Tagua Jewelry crafted her beautiful eco friendly jewelry and Michelle Penick live painted a portrait of a rabbit from Zooh Corner Rabbit Rescue. Jonathan and our other volunteers, Dale, Meg and Lisa hosted a free make and take. Our good friends the SD Tiki Ladies came out to support Allie, Jennifer and Michelle on Saturday Afternoon. On Sunday, local student, Scarlet Mohi volunteered to paint a live painting of koi fish, and Jennifer painted a live portrait of a french bulldog and Harley from @EatDrinkCat on Instagram. Jonathan helped people to do a free custom 1 inch button for a free make and take. Artist Sheryl Schroder also provided some hand painted ornaments for the cause. Founder Elena and Devin came to support us as well! We raised money for animals affected during the LA Wildfires of 2025.
Check out some photos from the event!

Artist Statement
I capture the moments between the breaths and the echos of the soul
My creative visions play with your senses and illuminate the human condition as I delve into the uncensored depths of my mind and invite you to catch a glimpse of the other side. As every story has a past, present, and future, I capture segmentations of energetic imagery interacting and breathing through the boundlessness of space and time…the moments between the breaths…the
echos of the soul.
Transmuting my medium through a poetically alchemical process based upon the principles of equivalent exchange, a process I call Acrylic Alchemy, it is my hope that you will completely lose yourself within these labyrinthine experiences, only to discover a new sense of self and emerge reborn. Pain to purpose and essence of energy, I create portals to a safe place, a better
place…my own reality.
